  • Frequently Asked Questions:

    Are there any upfront costs?

    There are no upfront costs. Your monthly rental will provide you a fully installed and working WiFi service. Included in your Advantage WiFi installation is 30m internal wiring per Access Point. Should you required additional internal wiring, this is available at a cost of €40 per additional 30m.

  • What is included in the service?
    1. Your eircom Account Manager will confirm with you the location for the WiFi service plus a few simple questions in terms of the number of SSID’s you want set up, the branding & colour of the SSID log-on page and any bandwidth or application control policies you want implemented will help eircom have your service ready to go.
    2. Once your eircom Broadband service is available (if not already installed) at the required location the WiFi service will be installed within five working days. An Advantage WiFi engineer will contact you to organise a convenient time for the installation. The installation will include locating the Access Point, any related cabling (up to 30 metres is included in tariff) and you will be given a welcome pack with marketing material to help promote your new service to your customers.
    3. The installation will typically take around one hour and will have no impact on your telephone and broadband services availability

  • How do I log onto my eircom Advantage WiFi management portal?
    1. You will have received by email your log-on credentials. Use them to log on at at https://login-eircom.cloud.xirrus.com
    2. If you have forgotten your password no problem just click on the ‘forget password’ link to assist you.

  • Can I change my WiFi settings?

    With the eircom portal you have full control of your WiFi service. eircom will complete the initial set up of the service to help you get started and after that the portal provides a simple and intuitive set of tools for you to manage the service.
